What this document covers.

GMP covers the conditions product claims are actually made in: hygiene regime, equipment calibration, storage controls and personnel practice. Like HACCP, it sits with the facility rather than the trader.

We require it from every food plant we buy from before the first order, and the certificate is named on this entry with the plant it belongs to. Until an order is placed with a specific plant, there is no plant to name.

    The number is not published yet. Ask us and we will send the issued copy or the application reference.

    Search the issuing body’s register

    The issuing body is SGS. Search its public register, or call it, using the number and the company or plant name.

  3. 03

    Confirm the scope, not just the status

    Check that the scope on the register matches the scope printed here. A valid certificate for the wrong activity is not cover for your order.
