Export Credit & Marine Cargo Insurance
Cover is arranged per shipment and the policy is in the documents pack. We publish the insurer and policy reference so you can check what is and is not covered.

This entry is listed before its number is published. It records the standard, the issuing body and the scope we require. Ask us for a copy, or for the number, and we will send what we hold.
01 / Scope
What this document covers.
Insurance terms differ more than buyers expect. ICC(A) covers the full value and carries the wider obligations; ICC(C) is cheaper and covers a narrower set of risks. We state which one a quote is based on rather than leaving it to the fine print.
For CIF and CIP terms the insurance certificate is issued with the shipment and is cancellable. The insurer and policy reference are recorded here, and we do not describe cover we have not arranged.

02 / For buyers
What this means for your order.
Plain-language notes on what the document does and does not tell you.
- Ask whether a quote is based on ICC(A) or ICC(C), and what that leaves uncovered.
- For CIF and CIP shipments the insurance certificate is in the documents pack, and you can cancel it before it takes effect.

03 / Verification
How to check it independently.
A certificate number is only useful if you can take it to the source. Here is where to take this one.
- 01
Take the number from this page
The number is not published yet. Ask us and we will send the issued copy or the application reference.
- 02
Search the issuing body’s register
The issuing body is Insurer named on each policy. Search its public register, or call it, using the number and the company or plant name.
- 03
Confirm the scope, not just the status
Check that the scope on the register matches the scope printed here. A valid certificate for the wrong activity is not cover for your order.

If the register does not show this entry, tell us. We would rather correct the page than leave a claim standing.

ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited Laboratory Testing
Not our certificate. It is the laboratory’s. We name the lab, its accreditation number and its scope for every test, so the result is checkable rather than merely attached.

POL-02Ethical Sourcing & Forced Labour Policy
A written policy we publish in full rather than summarise. The commitments are testable, and the supplier undertakings behind them are signed before an order.
